CAS81 and a Few Other Cards

Good day All,
I've got a quick post with some photos of card that I made earlier in the week. This first set of cards was created for Monday's CAS (Clean & Simple) challenge #81. The challenge was to use the colors Kraft, Turquoise and White only.
This was the first time that I have inked up this level 1 hostess set from the new SU! catty. When I first saw this set I thought that it needed to be colored in and that kinda scared me! lol! But after stamping it out a couple times in different color inks I decided it looks beautiful just as it is! Wouldn't you agree? These went together quickly which is why I was able to create 4 of them and is what makes them fit into the CAS category for me. Here is my suply list:

STAMPS: Because I Care, Warmest Regards (SU!)

PAPER: Kraft, Whisper white (SU!); Turquoise textured cs (DCWV)

INK: Crumb Cake, Taken With Teal (SU!)

THE REST: Border punches (SU! and Martha Stewart); various unknown ribbons from my stash

Over the weekend I created these 2 cards. The first one was for my son and his wife's 3rd wedding anniversary. This was fun to make. supply list:
STAMPS: Teeny Tiny Wishes (SU!)
PAPER: whisper white, close to cocoa (SU!); designer paper (Basic Grey)
INK: Close to Cocoa (SU!)
THE REST: punches, embossing folder (SU!); Nesties (Spellbinders); Cuttlebug; ribbon, tiny 1/2 pearls, gems (unknown)
And my last card was created for my husband's friend who recently lost his pet dog. My husband doesn't often ask me to make cards for him to give away, but this was a special request and he wanted a card with a dog on the front. This is what I came up with and he was pleased. Here is the supply list:
STAMPS: Whimsical Wishes (taylored expressions); Teeny Tiny Wishes (SU!)
PAPER: SU! & DCWV
INKS & MARKERS: SU!
THE REST: punches (SU!); Nesties (Spellbinders); Cuttlebug; faux brads (unknown)
Well!! This wasn't as quick of a post as I had originally thought it would be! Whew!! Thanks a bunch for stoppin' by today! See you soon!

CC285 and S & S Sketch Challenge #31 Miss You

Good evening All,
I have a couple of cards tonight that I made earlier today for 2 different challenges. My colors were taken from SCS's Color Challenge # 285 to use Pacific Point, Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive. I have been trying to use up some of my non-SU! cardstock so these aren't true SU! colors, but I thought they were a close match. The 2nd challenge I participated in is the Stars and Stripes Blog Sketch Challenge #31.
This layout was lots of fun to work with and these cards will be going to our troops as part of Operation Write Home for them to use to stay in touch with their loved ones!

Here is my supply list:

STAMPS: Three Little Words, Fun & Fast Notes (SU!)

PAPER: Textured Cardstock (The Paper Studio); Whisper White (SU!); designer paper (DCWV)

INKS and MARKERS: SU!

THE REST: Various punches (SU! & Marvy); Brads (SU!); sticky rhinestones (unknown); Felt flower (American Crafts)

Well, that's it for now. I actually have finished up some more cards, but will have to post them tomorrow (hopefully)! Thanks a bunch for stoppin' by!

FS185 CASEing Princess Heather

Good Afternoon All,
Today's Featured Stamper over at SCS is Heather AKA Princessheather! Congrats to her!! Check out her Sharing in Your Sorrow card that I chose to CASE (copy and share with everyone). It's beautiful, isn't it? For my card I changed from a square to a rectangle, used a different stamp set, and used different colors. I like how they turned out except that the sentiments are crooked on both...
Anywho, here is my supply list:

STAMPS: Watercolor Trio, Well Scripted (SU!)

PAPER: Whisper White, Tangerine Tango (SU!)

INK and MARKERS: Daffodil Delight, Old Olive, Cajun Craze, Tangerine Tango (SU!)

THE REST: Ribbon , Brads (SU!); Nestibilities Die (Spellbinders- used as a stencil)

To create The background I used a deckled rectangle nestie and a piece of acetate to make a clear stencil. Then using this stencil I sponged on Daffodil Delight ink. I used markers to ink up my image stamps and stamped on top of my sponged area. I really love how this looks and it was so easy!

Thanks so much for stoppin' by! See you again soon!

SC294 Love You Much

It's another good evening!
I have 2 cards to share tonight that I actually finished yesterday, but am just getting around to posting to my blog! These were created for this week's Sketch Challenge #294 over at SCS! This was a fun layout with lots of layered panels! Here is my suply list (all products are Stampin' Up!):

STAMPS: Love You Much

PAPER: Pretty in Pink, Chocolate Chip, So Saffron, watercolor paper, Sweet Pea dsp

INKS and MARKERS: Stazon Black, Chocolate Chip, Pretty in Pink, Old Olive

THE REST: Felt flowers, rhinestone brads, felt ribbon, aqua painter

I stamped the image with black Stazon onto watercolor paper and used an aqua painter and my ink pads to water color the word LOVE. I stamped the words 'you much' in chocolate chip ink on So Saffron cardstock, cut it out with scissors and popped up on dimenionals. I just love this striped dsp from the Sweet Pea paper pack! I like watercolor because it looks better if you don't stay in the lines! lol!

Well, that's it for tonight! Thanks a bunch for stoppin' by!!
