A Dozen Cards

Howdy and good morning! I spent about 6 hours straight on Tuesday and created a dozen cards using three designs! I wanted to beef up my box that I sent Tuesday afternoon to Operation Write Home! I also needed to get some more cards done for the challenges for Hope You Can Cling To to send off at the end of the month! This first set of cards I made for two challenges. I used the S & S sketch challenges #38 from the OWH Stars and Stripes Blog and also I used the HYCCT12 Challenge - Birthday's are a piece of cake - to use paper piecing! Supplies used:
STAMPS: Crazy For Cupcakes (SU!)
PAPER: SU!, Bazzill, Greenhouse by K&Co.
INK: SU!
THE REST: ribbon, faux brads (unknown from my stash)
This set of cards I made without any challenges in mind. I just wanted to use some of my Wild Asparagus patterned paper from MME. Supply list:
STAMPS: Garden From The Heart (SU!)
PAPER: SU!, My Mind's Eye
INK & MARKERS: SU!
THE REST: ribbon, brads (SU!)For this last set of cards I CASEd myself from a card I made a few days ago and really loved how it came out! Supply list:
STAMPS: Patterned Pines (SU!)
PAPER: Whisper white, real red (SU!); tinsel patterned paper (Making Memories)
INK & MARKERS: SU!
THE REST: Top Note Die and Big Shot (SU!); gems (unknown from my stash)
Welp! That's what I've got for this morning! I didn't do any stamping yesterday, but I hope to get some done today! Thanks a bunch for stoppin' by! See you again soon!

S&S Sketch Challenge #35 and Dutch Dare Card Challenge #87

Good afternoon All,
I have a set of cards to show you that I created last night. As a starting point I went to this week's Sketch challenge over at the OWH Stars & Stamps Blog - S&S sketch #35. As Operation Write Home continues to celebrate their birthday with a month long Birthday Bash, I also used the Dutch Dare Card Challenge #87 which is helping OWH celebrate by featuring them for this challenge. I created 3 Birthday cards and 3 Thinking iof You cards and I wanted these to be 'gender friendly' by choosing designer paper and embellies that weren't too frilly! I just love these 2 Changito stamps by Stampendous!, aren't they just the cutest? Here is my supply list for the whole set:

STAMPS: Changito (Stampendous!); Sentiment (studio g $1 clear stamps)

PAPER: Cardstock (SU!, Bazzill, DCWV); Designer paper (My Mind's Eye)

INK and MARKERS: SU!, Copic

THE REST: punches (SU!); Brads, ribbon (unknown - from my non-SU! stash)

Well, that's it for now! Thanks a bunch for stoppin' by! Please take some time to check out Opereation Write Home and find out how you can help support our troops!

CC285 and S & S Sketch Challenge #31 Miss You

Good evening All,
I have a couple of cards tonight that I made earlier today for 2 different challenges. My colors were taken from SCS's Color Challenge # 285 to use Pacific Point, Rich Razzleberry and Old Olive. I have been trying to use up some of my non-SU! cardstock so these aren't true SU! colors, but I thought they were a close match. The 2nd challenge I participated in is the Stars and Stripes Blog Sketch Challenge #31.
This layout was lots of fun to work with and these cards will be going to our troops as part of Operation Write Home for them to use to stay in touch with their loved ones!

Here is my supply list:

STAMPS: Three Little Words, Fun & Fast Notes (SU!)

PAPER: Textured Cardstock (The Paper Studio); Whisper White (SU!); designer paper (DCWV)

INKS and MARKERS: SU!

THE REST: Various punches (SU! & Marvy); Brads (SU!); sticky rhinestones (unknown); Felt flower (American Crafts)

Well, that's it for now. I actually have finished up some more cards, but will have to post them tomorrow (hopefully)! Thanks a bunch for stoppin' by!

Good Afternoon,
I've got another card for you that incorporates 2 different challenges. I Started with the Color challenge-CC284- over at SCS which was to use Always Artichoke, Cherry Cobbler and Pretty in Pink. I just love this color combo!! I decided to join a new challenge over at Operation Write Home's Stars and Stamps Blog which is a weekly sketch challenge.
What an awesome place to get some really great card layouts! I will definitely try to play along each week as I create cards to send to our Troops all over the world! Here is my supply list (ALL products are Stampin' Up!)

STAMPS: Watercolor Trio, Teeny Tiny Wishes

PAPER: Whisper White, Always Artichoke, Cherry Cobbler, Pretty In Pink, patterns pack (hostess-retired)

INK and MARKERS: Always Artichoke, Cherry Cobbler, Pretty In Pink

THE REST: Big Shot, Square Lattice embossing folder, small rhinestone, med. rhinestone brad

I distressed my edges with the edge of my scissors and I used my markers to color on my stamps before stamping.
