A Birthday Card and Giving Thanks

Good afternoon!
I've got a couple of cards to show you today, but I gotta make it kinda quick. I am going to the airport in a bit to pick up my oldest son who is flying out to Las Vegas from Syracuse. He will be doing double duty, conference for work and spending some time with his mom and dad! Woot! Woot! These are cards that I made last week and am just getting to posting them. A friend of mine from back east celebrated a birthday this week and here is the card that I made her. I followed a sketch challenge from somewhere, but now I can't find where. This card just seems so yummy to me. Must be the designer paper, colors or the ribbon! Here is the recipe: ( All products are Stampin' Up! unless otherwise noted)

Stamps
  • Out of the Box
  • On Your Birthday

Paper

  • Chocolate Chip
  • Pretty in Pink
  • Whisper White
  • Designer Paper by Basic Grey - Pheobe line

Ink

  • Chocolate Chip
  • Regal Rose
  • Green Galore

Accessories

  • Circle and Scallop Circle punches
  • ribbon (SU! - retired)
  • Pink Crystal gems (Michaels)
  • Many Marvelous Markers
  • dimensionals

The next cards are a bunch of Thanksgiving Day cards that I made to send to my family in New York that I am missing very much this holiday.

Here is the recipe: (All Products are Stampin' Up!)

Stamps

  • The More The Merrier

Paper

  • Really Rust
  • Chocolate Chip
  • Sage Shadow
  • Whisper White
  • retired DSP

Ink

  • Chocolate Chip

Accessories

  • Circle, scallop circle square, and Scallop edge punches
  • 1/4" grosgrain ribbon (C. Chip and M. Mustard)
  • Big Shot
  • Top Note die
  • Dimensionals
  • Many Marvelous Markers

I made a dozen of these and they went fairly quick. I love this patchwork look with the Top Note die!

That's it for now! Thanks a bunch for stoppin' by!
