I stuck very closely to the actually sketch and I am pleased with my result! I have been on a watercolor kick lately. I love how quickly and easily I can color and image and I don't have to worry too much about staying in the lines.

HSS Sketch Challenge #241 Best Birds

I have been busy crafting, spending time with my family and enjoying my summer. I hope you are all doing the same! I have for you today a card that I created for the current Hand Stamped Sentiments challenge.

This is the first time I inked up my Best Birds stamp set and used the matching Birds & Blooms Thinlits dies. Love them! 

Look at all that dimension! I used my blender pens to color in the images and added some Pearls to the center of the flower. Total cuteness!

I added these perfectly matching pearls after coloring them with my Blendabilities.

It's been a while, I know! I am so glad to be getting settled back into a routine after the holidays and with my new job.  I made this for my 2 month old granddaughter, Leila Marijayne, who was born on December 13th. I am sure she won't really care about it, but my daughter-in-law will appreciate the effort!
