Mojo Monday Sketch #456 on Tuesday

I have for you today a card that I created using the current Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge.

I stuck very closely to the actually sketch and I am pleased with my result! I have been on a watercolor kick lately. I love how quickly and easily I can color and image and I don't have to worry too much about staying in the lines.

I have for you today a card that I created using two different challenges.  For my card layout, I went to this week's Mojo Monday Sketch Challenge, MOJO432. And for my color inspiration I went to this week's Pals Paper Arts Challenge, PPA285.

Only Stampin' Up! products were used to create this fun card! I decided to make mine as an A2 card instead of the square from the sketch. I am thinking this will be my Valentine's Day card for my hubby. I am so glad I finally used my new SU! Bear Hugs stamp set with matching Framelits dies! Whoo-Hoo!

Mmmmm...I love these colors together. This week's sketch was for a tall & skinny card. Mine measures 3 1/2" x 6". 

I added these perfectly matching pearls after coloring them with my Blendabilities.

It's been a while, I know! I am so glad to be getting settled back into a routine after the holidays and with my new job. I want to get back to participating in some of the awesome card challenges that are out there in Blog Land, so today I have a card that I created for this week's Mojo Monday. Here is the Sketch:

 I made this for my 2 month old granddaughter, Leila Marijayne, who was born on December 13th. I am sure she won't really care about it, but my daughter-in-law will appreciate the effort!

I just love these colors together!! And I love how bright my button turned out! I colored it after it had dried with the aqua painter and the Crushed Curry reinker! And of course...Elephants are my fave!!

Mojo Monday Sketch #299 on Monday!

I know this does not happen very often, but I actually finished a Mojo Monday card on Monday! Woot-Woot! for me! Here is the sketch: Mojo Monday #299

I know the Sketch Challenge says Round or Square...so I made mine a stretched square (otherwise known as a rectangle) because it just wasn't looking right with the image I used. Here is my supply list - all products used are current Stampin' Up!:

STAMPS:  Birthday Cake (single stamp set), Positively Chevron (background stamp)

PAPER:  Night of Navy, Basic Gray, Smokey Slate, Very Vanilla, Soho Subway designer series paper

INK:  Basic Gray, Markers (Basic Gray, Summer Starfruit, Night Navy)

THE REST:  Simply Pressed Clay, Buttons Mold, Summer Starfruit reinker, Night of Navy 1/4" Stitched Grosgrain Ribbon, 2-1/2" Circle punch, Chevron embossing folder

I used the New Simply Pressed Clay and Button mold. It worked great! I used my markers to color my Birthday Cake stamp. I am pleased with my end result! This card is going to my dad for his birthday next week!
