Howdy All!
Here is another quick post with a fast and easy Father's Day card using this week's Saturday Sketch Challenge #259 over at the Stamping 411 blog.
This card seriously only took me 15 minutes to make. I love the clean lines and the partially stamped images. So often we think that an image has to be stamped completely and centered on our piece of cardstock. Silly, I know!
Here is my complete supply list (all products are Stampin' Up!):
STAMPS: Totally Tool (sadly this set is now retired), Itty Bitty Banners, Woodgrain
PAPER: Chocolate Chip, Sahara Sand, Always Artichoke, Whisper White
INK: Chocolate Chip, Always Artichoke
THE REST: Circle punches, ribbon (retired), Hemp Twine (retired), Bitty Banners Framelits
Okey-dokey! That's all for now!
Thanks a bunch for stoppin' by!
See you again soon.
Hugs!
These are a FEW of my Favorite things! ~A place to share my creative side and the things that I love~

SSC170 Giving Thanks

Good evening All, Wow! 2 post in 1 day! I've been very busy stamping and making cards this weekend! I have been stalkin' the Stamping 411 blog for quite some time now and I finally sat down and participated in one of their Saturday Sketch challenge, #170.
What a fantastic sketch this was to work with! I am still working on Thanksgiving cards to send to Operation Write Home and I gotta get them in the mail by Tuesday morning, at the latest!!
Here is my complete supply list:
I created 4 cards using this sketch. The turkey stamp and sentiment are from a Fiskers Clear stamp set that I have had for a couple of years and never inked up!! Does anybody else do that? So silly!
The other image panel is stamped from one of my fav SU! sets, Autumn Days, which has been inked up several times!! The designer paper I used is from a DCWV mat pack from last fall, it has some great papers in it!
STAMPS: Autumn Days, Teeny Tiny Wishes (SU!), Turkey Lurkey (Fiskers clear stamps)
PAPER: Whisper White, Chocolate Chip (SU!); Yellow textured cs, designer paper (DCWV)
INKS and MARKERS: Cajun Craze, More Mustard, Pumpkin Pie, Chocolate Chip, Old Olive, Early Espresso (SU!)
THE REST: Punches (SU!); ribbon (unknown from my stash)
And there you have it! I did stop by to check out the J-MO Papercrafting and Scrapbook Expo here in Las Vegas and it was a good time. Lots of activities and giveaways. There were about a dozen vendors - not bad for a 1st annual event! It'll be fun to see How it turns out next year! I did manage to spend a few dollars while I was there too!!
Thanks for stoppin' by! See you again real soon!
