Thinking of You - FMS329

Howdy All!
I have for you today a card that I created a few days ago for the Freshly Made Sketches Challenge #329. I am just getting around to posting it today!

Here is my card:

I used an Aqua Painter and my ink pads to color in my butterfly image on Shimmery White cardstock.

I couldn't get a good pic of how pretty the shimmery White cardstock really is.

I also did a similar card where I cut the image out, used a birthday sentiment and added some sequins.

This card has already been mailed to my niece for her birthday next week! :)

Do Something Creative - FMS327

Howdy All!
I've been very busy the past couple of weeks making swaps for Jill Olsen's Spring Event last week in St. George and getting some crocheting done! I will share some of what I have made in an upcoming post.

Today, I have a card for Freshly Made Sketches challenge #327.

Here is my card:

I realized that I use the same colors as my last card which are the colors from the Bubbles & Fizz dsp from Sale-a-bration! I love them!

I used a technique that has a few different names. I call it the Ink Smooshing technique and it makes an awesome watercolor background. So Yummy!

I think I will try some more cards using the Ink Smooshing technique. If you are interested in trying it yourself just search Pinterest or Youtube and there are lots of tutorials.

Bubble Over Thank You - FMS325

While I feel like the sketch is a fairly simply one, my card turned out a bit busier than I normally would do. I love all the sparkle, though! I adore that cute little Unicorn!

Magical Birthday - FMS324

Howdy All!
I am sharing with you today a quick card I made for Freshly Made Sketch #324.

Here is my card:

I used an aqua painter and my ink pads to color in this sweet little mermaid.

Can you see all of the yummy glitter goodness I added with the Wink of Stella Glitter Brush! I love that thing to add a bit of sparkle to an image that I have colored!

Jar of Love For You - FMS322

Howdy All!
I had my Jar of Love stamp set out on my table so I decided to use it for the card I am sharing today. My card layout was inspired by Freshly Made Sketch #322.

I really don't use this set enough and I realized it is because there are so many stamps from the set needed to create a card! Lol! But the results are definitely worth the effort!
