Mojo Monday on a Tuesday

Howdy All!
I've got a neat card for you today that I made for my Hubby's birthday. I used the sketch from this week's Mojo Monday sketch challenge #231. Here is the sketch:

Kind of fun, huh?!
And here is my card:

I definitely needed a masculine card, because my husband is NOT a frills and ribbons kinda guy! I love this stampin' Up! designer series paper called Well Worn! There are some great patterns in it and the colors are very earthy. Here is a complete list of products I used (all products are Stampin' Up!):

 STAMPS:  Elementary Elegance (Sale-a-bration)

PAPER:  Early Espresso, River Rock, Soft Suede, Cajun Craze, Not Quite Navy, Well Worn dsp

INK:  Early Espresso

THE REST:  Big Shot and Square Lattice Textured ImpressionsEmbossing Folder, Scallop Circles #2 die, circle cutter, Simply Scored tool, Metallic brads, Corner rounder punch, 1/2 " circle punch

I made this last night and gave it to him this morning and he loved it!

Well, that's it for now! Thanks a bunch for stoppin' by! Hope to see you again soon!

Happy Dirtday - I Love This Set

Howdy All!

I made another card using the 'I Dig You' stamp set from Stampin' Up! Love it! The construction vehicles, also known as -Messies - by my youngest son when he was little, are soooo cute and fun to stamp and cut out!
I love adding the 5/16" brads to the center of the wheels too! This card went to a sweet little boy named Evan, who just turned 3! All products used are Stampin' Up! except for the embossing folder which is by ProvoCraft. I keep saying that SU! needs to come out with more embossing folders as they are one of my go-to tools for creating backgrounds with texture!
Thanks a bunch for stoppin' by! Hope to see you again soon!

2012 Special Olympics USA Scarf Project

Howdy All! I hope everyone is enjoying their weekend so far! I know I am!  So, last week I finished up the 10 scarves that I had been working on for a few weeks. I made these for a wonderful group that helps provide handmade scarves for participants, families and volunteers of the Special Olympics. I participated in this project last year by crocheting 5 scarves and I challenged myself to double that for this year. I did it! So, here are the finished scarves.
And this one is my favorite! If you would like to learn more about this amazing organization, please check out the link here.

As always, thanks a bunch for stoppin' by today! Hope to see you again soon!

Dinosaur Punch Art Welcome Baby Card

Howdy All!
As promised from yesterday, I have a darling card for you today. I was inspired by this card that I saw on Pinterest. I have found so many awesome Blogs from looking around on Pinterest. If you do not yet belong to this group, I suggest you go have a look-see and check it out! So, here is my card:
I used all Stampin' Up! products except for the texture embossing folder which is a CuttleBug folder by ProvoCraft. I wish Stampin' Up! would come out with more of these! I love to use them to add depth and texture to my paper crafts!
Here is a quick visual of the punches and Big Shot die that I used to create my fun card(Click on Photo for a close-up view)! Cute! Cute! Cute! And easy too! Give it a try. It would make a cute card for anyone who loves dinosaurs!

Well, that's what I have for you today! Thanks a bunch for stoppin' by! Come back again real soon!
